Making new best friends since 1998.
Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP) was founded in 1998 and is dedicated to the rescue of dogs and cats that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where they are provided with love, food, medical care, and socialization until adoption into a new loving home.
Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit that exists to rescue, protect, and provide care for at risk dogs and cats. Our pets are fostered in homes until adoption.

Meet Rosemary!
Rosemary is a 4 year old shepherd mix who loves dogs who like her rough and tumble play style! She has been to formal training at Pawlished and comes with support from them for life. She knows how to walk on leash, sit, down, and heel.
Human and dog strangers scare her (until they aren't strangers anymore - she loves her people with her whole heart!). She loves the older kids in her foster home and does well with the cat when she remembers to play gently.
Be prepared for a goofy, super playful girl when she comes out of her shell!

Meet Tyr!
Tyr is a 9 year old Australian shepherd mix ready to spend his golden years with his forever family.
He’s the softest, sweetest boy who still has so much love — and life — left to give. He gets along beautifully with dogs and children, and all he really wants is a warm bed and someone to call his own again.

Meet Moxi!
Moxi has two sides to her personality. When she is comfortable with you, she is talkative, outgoing, and friendly as can be. She loves to be pet and will sit on the back of the couch snuggled right against your head when you are relaxing. On the flip side, Moxi disappears under the bed when visitors stop by; she wants absolutely nothing to do with strangers.
This intelligent girl has lived with kids, cats, and dogs and done fine with them all, but she is also smart enough to realize that life as an only cat is pretty fabulous, so she would be absolutely fine as your one and only. Moxi spends the bulk of her time napping. She does enjoy an occasional catnip toy and loves cardboard scratch pads. She is fully litter box trained. -
